When Lockt Editorial needed a VFX & CGI partner to showcase Cub Cadet’s new, ultra-premium mower lineup, DNGR was the obvious choice. This wasn't just about creating beautiful product shots to showcase the exceptional build quality; it was also channeling the raw power, precision engineering, and premium craftsmanship that sets these machines above ordinary outdoor power equipment.

Working shoulder-to-shoulder with Lockt + Cub’s internal teams, DNGR guided the project from first spark of ideation and storyboard, through animatics, motion tracking, and meticulous roto, to lighting and shader design, compositing, and final post/color. The result? A campaign that doesn’t just show off the machines — it radiates their presence. Visually magnetic, technically flawless, and impossible to ignore, it’s a true standout in the industry.

Our team immersed itself in the build, engineering hyper-real CGI sequences with intricate grass-growth and cutting simulations, choreographing every blade-on-blade interaction, and designing advanced fluid dynamics that gave the machines a palpable sense of force.

Every element was tuned with obsessive precision, from the shimmer of dew across a newly trimmed lawn to the choreography of steel slicing through turf, to reflect both the technical sophistication and the hard-wearing dependability that define Cub Cadet. The outcome: imagery that doesn’t just illustrate performance, it embodies it, delivering a vivid lawn-care experience that makes clear why Cub Cadet stands at the forefront of high-performance outdoor power.
